I am incredibly proud to share that I won Sports Person of the Year at the Black Excellence Awards Dinner & Awards Night 

This award is not just about me, it represents the hard work, dedication, and heart of my organisation and the amazing team around me. Together, we have been privileged to serve our community through sports coaching, inclusive physical activity, and stroke rehabilitation programmes, using sport as a tool for healing, confidence, and transformation.

A special thank you to Olive Williams for nominating me, I truly appreciate you believing in the work we are doing. 

And to my wife and son, my team members, Fatima and everyone who has stuck with me throughout the year, supported the vision, and kept showing up: this is our win. 

To everyone who trusted us, trained with us, volunteered, supported, or cheered us on, thank you. We are only getting started.
