🎨 What an amazing launch!
On Monday 17th November we officially kicked off Brush 4 Strokes – Arts & Craft at Betty Dodd Court, and the energy was incredible! 💙✨
Participants enjoyed a warm, creative session filled with colour, mindfulness, and connection. From guided relaxation activities to hands-on art making, it was beautiful to see everyone engaging, expressing themselves, and having fun.
We are proud to share that Brush 4 Strokes is designed to support individuals who have been disabled by stroke, helping them rebuild confidence, coordination and joy through creativity. The sessions also offer a therapeutic space for residents coping with anxiety, stress, and loneliness, providing community, calm, and meaningful engagement.
We are equally thrilled that, in addition to our main headquarters at Lewsey Learning Centre, we have now been given the opportunity to expand into the wider community. This is a huge step in making wellbeing activities more accessible across Luton.
A heartfelt thank you to Shaheen Khan and the Prevention and Enabling Pathways Team in Luton, working within adults’ social care, for supporting this expansion and believing in the impact of this work. 🙏💙
The launch was full of laughter, focus, and community spirit, exactly what Brush 4 Strokes is all about. 🖌️💛
We can’t wait to welcome everyone back every Monday, 11am–12 noon!
